Big Mind, Little Mind, Beginner’s Mind
- May 21st, 2010
Beginner’s mind is a willingness to face what is without holding on to any concept about it. As a powerful state of presence that cuts through old prejudices and beliefs, it allows us to perceive things freshly and find new directions. When we can discern what is and bring our full presence to bear on it, the way forward often becomes clear. (pp. 2-7).
